CHECK THE COAST

After a successful 2014 campaign raising awareness for the Protect Our Coast and Oceans Fund on the CA state tax form, the California Coastal Commission asked us to develop a campaign for their 2015 tax initiative. Check out the case study video to see how we enlisted the help of fellow environmentalists and leveraged the power of the selfie across social media to help spread the word.

I concepted the iconic check the coast hand gesture which created a simple visual nemonic for participants to show their support on social. I created and retouched the primary visual asset, the check the coast hand with painted overlay and we shot influencers with the help of Brian Wedge.
